I am a Licensed Mental Health Care Associate (license #MC60603763) providing counseling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I received a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle and am currently in private practice. I have experience in dealing with anxiety, depression, sexual identity, life transition, feeling stuck or lost, spiritual concerns, men’s issues, relationship issues and communication, anger and challenging emotions, and grief and loss. My role as therapist is to utilize the therapeutic relationship to foster self-awareness, growth, and change. I believe that we have the answers to what holds us back from creating the life that we want, but they are often hidden underneath trauma, messages from society, and internalized voices that are not our own. I work from an Integrative Theoretical Perspective that is holistic and client-centered in approach. Although I draw from a wide range of theoretical perspectives (every person’s therapy is as individual as they are), I am heavily influenced by Humanistic, Existential, Feminist/Social Justice, and Buddhist mindfulness theories and principles. I am also an active member of ACA, American Counseling Association. Outside of psychotherapy, I enjoy electronic music, Scandinavian culture and design, and living life in the Pacific Northwest.
