I am a Licensed Mental Health Care Associate (license #MC60603763) providing counseling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I received a Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle and am currently in private practice. I work with anxiety, depression, life transition, feeling stuck or lost, spiritual concerns, men's issues, relationship issues, communication, anger, grief and loss, and issues of sexual identity. My role as therapist is to utilize the therapeutic relationship to foster self-awareness, growth, and change. I believe that we have the answers to what holds us back from creating a life that we want, but they are often hidden behind trauma, messages from society and family, and internalized voices that are not our own. I work from an Integrative Theoretical Perspective that is holistic and client-centered in approach. Although I draw from a wide range of theoretical perspectives, I am most influenced by Humanistic, Existential, Attachment, Somatic and Mindfulness theories within an anti-oppressive and social justice framework. I am culturally sensitive and welcome all ethnicities and sexual orientations. Outside of psychotherapy, I enjoy electronic music, Scandinavian culture and design, and getting outside in the Pacific Northwest.
